Keila
JKL member Keila from Antioch High Schools has had 100% attendance since the program’s inception in 2016. “I’m grateful for the JKL program and I love all the amazing people I now have in my life”. The gratitude circle, community service events and fitness activities have been the motivation for her dedication to the program.
The gratitude circle has allowed her to take time to reflect on life and the things she has taken for granted. Community service events like the Tennessee Titans coat drive have had a huge impact on Keila, especially knowing that she is making a difference in her community.
Outside of JKL, Keila has been attending a young teacher’s certification program since the 10th grade and aspires to become a marriage and family therapist. Since this is her senior year, Keila is planning on taking advantage of every single JKL opportunity. We look forward to seeing her shine in our program this year.
