Student Spotlight: Reyna Martinez – 12 th Grade – 3 rd Year JKL Student
We’re excited to spotlight Reyna from the JKL Roosevelt program in Washington, D.C. Reyna is already making a positive impact through her enthusiasm, determination, and willingness to step outside her comfort zone.
As an English language learner whose primary language is Spanish, Reyna approaches every challenge with courage and persistence. She continuously works to strengthen her English skills by actively participating in conversations, engaging in group activities, and building connections with her peers. Her commitment to personal growth is evident in everything she does.
Known for her kind heart and positive attitude, Reyna is always willing to lend a helping hand and encourage those around her. Her strong work ethic and uplifting spirit have already made her a valued member and leader of the JKL family.
