Just keep livin x Jimmy Miller Foundation: Beach Day 2025

We were proud to team up once again with the Jimmy Miller Memorial Foundation for our annual Beach Day, a powerful day of connection, confidence, and catching waves!

Students from our j.k. livin programs spent the day learning to surf with one-on-one instruction, riding boogie boards, and new this year, expressing themselves through art therapy, led by the amazing team at Indivisible Arts. From riding waves to drawing in the sand, each activity was designed to inspire courage, creativity, and healing.

For many students, it was their first time in the ocean, a milestone marked by laughter, personal breakthroughs, and lasting memories.

Huge thanks to our partners, volunteers, and the incredible instructors who made this day so special. We’re already counting down to next year!

WISE Scholarship Program: Meet Jacob A. 

Meet Jacob A., a standout freshman in our WISE program whose passion for technology and drive for excellence make him one to watch. With a strong interest in software development, Jacob has already set his sights on a future in tech and is actively laying the groundwork for success.

Dedicated and ambitious, Jacob consistently pushes himself to excel in the classroom. This summer, he will take his learning beyond the school walls by participating in college-level engineering and business courses—an impressive step for a high school freshman. These experiences will not only strengthen his technical skills but also give him insight into the entrepreneurial side of the tech world.

Jacob’s curiosity, focus, and work ethic embody the spirit of WISE. We’re excited to see all he will accomplish in the years ahead as he continues building a bright and promising future.
