Rachel Beller MS, RDN, a celebrity nutrition expert and best-selling author, is devoted to helping others achieve their weight loss goals while maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Beller is the founder of Beller Nutritional Institute (http://www.bellernutritionalinstitute.com/) in Beverly Hills and has had numerous television appearances. Most notably, she served as the nutritionist for NBC’s hit show The Biggest Loser, where she taught contestants how to shop, cook, and eat healthfully, and served as a nutritional consultant on the Oxygen Channel’s Dance Your A** Off. She is also Glamour magazine’s nutrition expert and helped design their “Body by Glamour” section. Beller regularly appears on The Today Show, The Dr. Oz Show, The Rachel Ray Show, ABC World News and Good Morning America, to name a few.
After receiving her bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Los Angeles and her master’s and registered dietitian degrees from the California State University, Los Angeles, Beller went on to conduct research at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and the John Wayne Cancer Institute. With an avid interest in community outreach and the role of nutrition in cancer prevention and weight loss, Beller is involved with many organizations, including American Cancer Society, Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Right Action for Women (the Christina Applegate Foundation), and the j.k. livin foundation.
