Teacher Training

The just keep livin home office staff hosted our second annual National Teacher Training Day. For the event, over 40 members of our jkl family from Washington D.C., New Orleans, Dallas, Austin, and Los Angeles, came together to celebrate, learn our history, and share best practices of how to implement our core components and curriculum. The morning session began at Creative Artist Agency (CAA). At CAA our team got to hear words of inspiration and wisdom from our Board Members Michelle Kydd Lee, Robin Berman, MD, and Jim Toth. The afternoon session was held at Animo Inglewood Charter High School, one of our fantastic jkl Los Angeles sites. While on campus, the group learned about nutrition from our jkl fitness expert Jenn Zerling, enjoyed refreshments courtesy of SUJA Juice, participated in small group learning, and closed the day with a relaxing yoga session, led by our Los Angeles jkl yoga instructor, Ed Rumann.
