On Thursday July 28th, the Jimmy Miller Memorial Foundation invited just keep livin students from Animo South Los Angeles High School to participate in their Ocean Therapy Surf Class. Students enjoyed a professional and safe surfing experience provided by the great staff and volunteers of the JMMF. Many Students caught waves on their very first try and had lots of success throughout the session, which produced unforgettable smiles! Carly Rogers, their Director of Programs as well as a Licensed Occupational Therapist, lead a great discussion about how tackling the sport of surfing can relate to how we approach our individual goals in life. We’re looking forward to partnering with the JMMF to provide this opportunity to more of our j.k. livin students in the near future!
